What is there to see in Paris?

The Eiffel Tower is definitely a beautiful monument, but few Parisians have actually climbed it. However, the Seine is the soul of the city. If we walk along it, we can discover buildings that are the history of this country: the cathedral of Notre-Dame, the Eiffel Tower itself, the Louvre Museum, the Île de la Cité and the Île Saint-Louis...

And what about its bridges? There are thirty-four of them to precise, all of them, architectural gems. What's the best way to see them? Well, you can do so by walking along the river bank, it's probably the best way. However, the traveller should also consider riding one the Bateaux Mouches – a river cruise. They run all day long and allow us to view the city from a completely different perspective. Crossing each and every bridge may not be feasible, so, if you were to choose one, which one should it be? The Pont Neuf could be a good option. Built in 1607, it might be the part of the city which Parisians cross the most throughout their lives. Well, not just locals, also visitors during their time in Paris. However, it wouldn't be fair to forget about Pont Royal. It's located just opposite the Musée d'Orsay, renowned for its magnificent Impressionist art collection. Other bridges worth mentioning could be the Pont de la Concorde, built with stones resulting from the destruction of the Bastille or Pont Alexandre III, the most picturesque in the city and for many one of the masterpieces of the Art Nouveau architecture.
