Getaway to Terra Mítica
We made a short weekend getaway with our 8-year-old daughter to Terra Mítica in Benidorm (Alicante), and she had a great time. It had been many years since we last visited, but the place still retains its charm. With the circular viewpoint, which rises about 100 meters high, you get a fascinating panoramic view of the park and the city of Benidorm and surroundings. Though it's glazed, if you have vertigo or fear of heights, I don't recommend it. It's a shame that the Colossus no longer operates and that some buildings are closed, but the shows remain entertaining for children and adults, and with the bathing areas available, the day becomes more bearable. Kids have a great time in the pools and attractions (Acuatiti, flying chairs, Minotaur's Labyrinth, Rapids of Argos, etc.). For children from 4 or 5 years old, they are recommended (in any case, the recommended age and minimum or maximum height are indicated). To point out a few flaws, I miss a themed restaurant. Lots of sandwich stalls, but there are a couple of places where you can sit at a good table, and there are queues. It's true that a sandwich is the most convenient solution. And another thing that disappointed me a bit is the souvenir shops in the park. Few and with little memorabilia of the thematic areas. I remember in 2007, in the Egyptian shops, you could buy watches with the face of a pharaoh, etc.

Fast access to the park
Access to the park is quick and without queues. It is a 5-minute walk away. I recommend the breakfast at Grand Luxor Village. Quite complete.

Excellent hotel and fun at theme parks
Excellent hotel! Guaranteed fun at the theme parks. We had access every day to Terra Mítica and Aqualandia, greatly enjoyed with the kids where every day ended by refreshing ourselves and dancing at the Terra Mítica pool bar, excellent shows with hardly any queues, the park is highly recommended.
