A former 18th-century Customs House, The Anglesey Arms is a traditional tavern is built into the walls of Caernarfon Castle. With free on-site parking, the hotel overlooks the harbour entrance, offering stunning views across the Menai Straits to Anglesey.
The cosy rooms feature a TV, free Wi-Fi, tea and coffee facilities, and some have views across the Menai Straits. All rooms have shared bathroom facilities.
With a variety of real ales and world wines, the pub entertains guests with regular live music events. It serves food daily. A full cooked breakfast using fresh, local produce is available in the morning, along with Continental options. A lunch and dinner menu are also on offer.
Snowdonia National Park is only 15 minutes’ drive away from Anglesey Arms, and the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway, 19 miles away, offers steam train travel to Porthmadog.
The hotel hosts live music every Friday and on occasional Saturday nights, with late opening until 01:00 on these days. There may be some additional noise on these days.
