Mansfield Castle is an imposing Victorian building set in 3.5 acres of picturesque countryside, with award winning cuisine and magnificent oak panelling throughout. The Castle dating back to 1772 is located in the Royal Burgh of Tain, just one hour from Inverness airport and in the heart of the Highlands of Scotland. Mansfield Castle is the perfect venue for a wedding, a short break or a complete get away to indulge in a few rounds of golf, sea and loch fishing, walking, stalking, dolphin and seal watching, whisky tasting, clan associations. The Castle offers 19 rooms and castle suites, standard rooms are loacted in the beautiful castle wing which is located via a walk way from the main castle itself.

Location

The castle is located in the Royal Burgh of Tain, in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. It is an ideal base from which to take advantage of the many activities on offer in the area, such as fishing in the loch, whisky tasting and dolphin and seal watching. The cities of Inverness and Dornach are less than an hour away. In Dornach there are numerous golf courses, such as the famous Dornach links.
