Beautiful city with lots of history to see and experience. Recommend a tour of Edinburgh Castle. Surgeons Hall museum was fascinating and intriguing if you like medical museums. Edinburgh was at one point in the 1800s leading the way in medical research. Cash is a thing of the past, so be prepared to go contactless everywhere. Go to one of the pubs and have a meal. Shopping on the Royal Mile is expensive and tourist so wander down the many closes and side streets to eat and shop. There are spectacular views all around Edinburgh especially around the Old Town.

The hotel was in a great location. Value for money excellent. The staff offered us a complimentary late check out to enable us to make use of the facilities on our departure date. Will be staying again and recommending the accomodation to our friends and family. The pool and gym facilities were perfect and the restaurant was lovely. The break fast buffet was exceptional.
