Remarkable Victorian architecture
My friend and I did a walking tour of the city with a leaflet from the Tourist Information Centre. Comprehensive, took as all over the city which is quite compact. Fabulous buildings from the Victorian era with impressive facades and the majority in good condition. Sadly quite a few not in use. Evening meal in 1914 restuarant at the Alhambra Theatre was excellent-have eaten there a few times before and has never disappointed. The Wool Exchange building (now a Waterstones book shop) is wonderful! Had a coffee in the cafe there. I personally am fond of Bradford and think it has a lot to offer.
