Hedley House Hotel

Located just 250 m from York city centre and within easy reach of the road-rail network, this family-friendly city hotel is also close to a number of airports, including Leeds/Bradford Airport (50 km), Durham Tees Valley Airport (76 km) and Robin Hood Airport, Doncaster/Sheffield (89 km).

Providing modern comfortable surroundings and outstanding personal service, this conference hotel was built in 1845 in the heart of the Victorian city and many of the rooms still include the original fireplace features. Renovated in 2009, the aparthotel offers 27 rooms in total. The main building has 15 bedrooms, all en-suite, and the annexe houses a further 11 en suite refurbished rooms. Facilities available to guests at the hotel include a lobby, hotel safe, TV lounge, bar, restaurant, conference facilities, Internet access, room and laundry services and a car park.

The award-winning cuisine is based on home cooking using fresh seasonal produce from the local area, including the excellent farmer-to-plate free roaming pork products from Yorkshire Outdoor. There is a separate dining room for families with younger children who wish to dine. Breakfast is served each morning and à la carte and set menu options are available for lunch and dinner. Lunch is additionally served as a buffet.
