Manchester and football
Manchester is very beautiful, especially a city linked to football with its two stadiums of Manchester United and Manchester City. Recommended to see a Premier League match or take a tour of one of these two stadiums. Many bars and restaurants with live music. A city well connected to public transport and easy to move around to go to the most emblematic places. Easy access from the airport to the center of Manchester.

AO Arena
We came for a concert at the AO Arena and unfortunately did not get to see much else. The AO Arena is a great venue located right inside the train station. We also went for breakfast at Café North, which serves excellent food.

Recommended visits
Recommended visits. It is essential to visit the John Rylands Library and the center. Highly recommended to visit the Northern Quarters neighborhood, not forgetting to pass by Afflecks Palace. The cathedral can be toured quickly but is worth it. For eating and drinking, go to the Albert pub.

A great atmosphere
A great atmosphere. We went to Manchester for an event, without any tourist pretensions, and we finally found it to be a very interesting city with a great atmosphere. We're eager to enjoy it more and discover its many corners.

Visit to the center under construction
It's worth visiting the center, although now the town hall is under construction and you can't see it from the outside or visit the inside. If you like football, I recommend visiting one of the football stadiums. The gastronomic offer is varied. And Liverpool is less than 1 hour away by train, a must-visit if you travel for several days.

Lots of offer for kids
We really liked the city, lots of cultural and sporting activities for children who like football, although we were surprised that at 8 p.m. we weren't allowed to be in the typical pubs with children, and that hadn't happened to us in any English city.

Manchester, recommendable city
Manchester is a beautiful city. A center with everything nearby, great variety of restaurants and shopping centers. Very good public transport service, including a free bus with two circular lines throughout the city. Recommendable.

Stunning old buildings and interesting places but sometimes very dark and depressing. Tram system is great and the free city bus is great and gives you a fair idea of where everything is placed.
