Info
Other attractions that will be close by from Travelodge Central City is the trendy Shoreditch which is a short walk away. Also near by is the splendid Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, important landmarks such as St.Paul's Cathedral and the Tower of London - which stands tall and majestic - is less than two miles away. Another reason you will love the Travelodge London Central City Hotel is our amazing deals. First, there is the early check-in and late check-out. We are also flexible about these times with an offer to stay a bit longer in your room for a minimal extra amount rather than full payment. This is ideal when there are flight delays or when something unexpected happens that delays your departure for a few hours.

Location
Travelodge London Central City Road Hotel stands on the City Road and Tabernacle Street. It is about 450 yards from Exit 2, City Road South, of Old Street Underground Station. If you are walking from Old Street Station, use Exit 2 which is the exit for City Road South. A three-minute walk straight down City Road on the left of Sainsbury's and Pod Cafe will take you to the hotel which is on the left. If you are walking from Exit Moorgate Station, take the East Moorgate exit and take a right turn towards Finsbury Square. Walk for about 100m, go past Finsbury Square and the hotel will be right ahead with the entrance on City Road.

Best: overall quality-price rate, variety of choice for breakfast. Bed comfort.

Worst: some facilities (no a/c in operation, issues with room cards).

Other travelodge hotels are better located and nearer to better connected underground stations.

    The best thing

There's free the cloud wifi at the restaurant bar and lobby (not really sure if it's other local's wifi or the hotel's bar).

    The worst thing

Hotel free wifi is only 30 minutes.

Breakfast was english type, adequate but you might get tired after a while. Our room didn't have a telephone (not that it mattered, just to inform you).

    The best thing

Confortable, spacious room (asked for twin bed and might have got one accessible room - bathroom was wheelchair ready).

    The worst thing

Poliester sheet on bed made it unconfortably hot to sleep on (june).
