Mary Luz, (Madrid)
Simple room. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast adequate for a 3-star hotel. In fact, it was quite good.

Great! clean room, very comfortable bed. Very friendly hotel staff. Hotel a bit old, but not a big deal. The only drawback is that the air conditioning units are mounted right on the balcony. They should be mounted on the wall and leave the balcony free. But well, it didn't worry us much. We will definitely come back!.

It is a hotel with character, classic, with incredible details such as furniture and glass lamps. You feel transported to earlier times with all the comforts of today: extra-large bed, wonderful bathroom. A total success. The mediterranean breakfast. I would return without a doubt. The reception is very friendly and professional, resolves any unforeseen events. The location is unbeatable.

The hotel is frankly good, with the only drawback being its location, far from the center, and since we stayed only one day we didn't bother to look for public transport options.

Anónimo,
Classic hotel, long-time standing, in the heart of san lorenzo de el escorial, next to the monastery. Old facilities, but renovated and clean. Good restaurant. Satisfied in my case, with a discounted room price, considering it's a weekend in may and the area.

The beds in rooms 305 and 306 are very uncomfortable.

Anónimo,
Very outdated. Stains on the floor and walls. Broken shutters through which light and wind filtered, one of them did not open. Two 90 cm beds together. Mattress as hard as a rock that caused us to not sleep comfortably and resulted in back pain.

Anónimo,
It needs a review/update.

Anónimo,
The hotel seemed newly decorated and was very nice. It was very well positioned and well light and sound insulated. We were on the top floor where the sloping ceilings added character but we did hit our heads on them once or twice near the bed. The rooms were a good size, well decorated and the beds were comfortable. There was no parking available and the private garage parking just up the road was rather expensive. The restaurant was not open when we were there but the bar was very good and sold good value breakfast food and tapas, etc. The coffee there was excellent.
