The best, the attention of the staff in all areas. The worst, i don't remember anything negative, except that the air conditioning in the room broke down and couldn't be fixed. It didn't matter much, i spent most of the day outside the hotel. It was a trip to disconnect and enjoy the environment and walks on different green routes around becerril.

We made the getaway this may 2022 to the rural hotel las gacelas in becerril de la sierra, my partner and i. We were received at the reception by maría jesús who was super friendly, she changed us to a room with a double bed and balcony, quite a detail when you go as a couple and your boyfriend is a smoker. They gave us real keys and not like other places those plastic ones that most of the time don't work well. When we entered the room it seemed time had stopped, a big bed with handmade wooden headboard, a chair that seemed like a rocking chair, wooden beams on the ceiling, and a charming little balcony. In addition, it had a large bathtub, so we could enjoy a relaxing bath. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and soft, with a spare pillow and we also had toiletries that smelled very good. The common rooms were very pleasant where there was a game room with board games, books... Another spacious lounge with views of the guadarrama mountains with a wood-burning fireplace that should give a magical touch on winter days. The bar was very pleasant with a terrace and small white lights on the trees that gave a festive marquee touch. We took half board and the buffet breakfast was delicious and varied, with relaxing music and spectacular views. The dinner was also very tasty and the waiters throughout the hotel were very friendly. The hotel facilities are enormous and you can lose yourself in them among multicolored flowers and soft grass while your view is delighted by the mountains and you recover your true spiritual essence far from the madding crowd. On the day we left it rained heavily and another very friendly receptionist gave us an umbrella and a big smile. The town of becerril is very close and very beautiful, with architecture inspired by swedish and german buildings with chalets with large triangular roofs where black slate is abundant. To access the hotel, it is well connected by buses from madrid and has parking for those who drive. We will definitely return maybe in the summer because the hotel has a large seasonal pool and snack bar in addition to a tennis court and a fronton. For animal lovers, there are beautiful kittens in the hotel's gardens and nearby there were cows with their calves, sheep, and a horse we named manolo who was very sweet. Completely recommended this getaway both for couples and families, athletes or to find oneself in the solitude accompanied by the guadarrama mountains. My score for the rural hotel las gacelas is an emphatic 10.

At 12:30 p. M. When we arrived at the hotel, the room was not ready yet (nothing to object). They took our phone to notify us when we could enter and we went to explore the area. At 2:30 p. M. We returned to the hotel and still couldn't access, as the occupants were still in the café and hadn't vacated the room; since we had booked half board, we went to the dining room and were told that it was room 119 to indicate in the restaurant. Around 4:00 p. M., as no one had notified us yet to access the room, we went to the reception. What a surprise it was that they gave us another room and told us that due to the time, our half board would be consumed at dinner. In short, a bit of lack of organization and much to be desired in customer service. Otherwise, the hotel was fine, the restaurant was fine, the parking was very good, and the decoration was very good.

The hotel is very rustic; it's super cool. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is buffet style, a bit sparse but enough for a complete breakfast. The room is quite large although the mattress is a bit uncomfortable and old. The bathroom is very good and very clean although the pipes smell terrible. The heating is always on and can be adjusted in each room. At night you can hear everything from the neighboring rooms, but generally, it's all quiet.

As a positive, there is the fact of having a parking lot to leave the car without additional charge. The room and the bathroom are renovated and clean, so the stay was pleasant. The breakfast is somewhat sparse and the cleaning there was not very careful (for example, the coffee machine). Restaurant prices are somewhat high in my opinion. Overall good in quality/price.
