The Hospedería Parque de Monfragüe is located in the centre of the triangle formed by the monumental cities of Cáceres, Plasencia and Trujillo, in Extremadura, at the gate of the national park - Parque Nacional de Monfragüe. The Hotel is a new building, renovated in 2015, and built with traditional materials, such as wood, slate and concrete. Inside, there is an avant-garde decoration and paintings by artists from Extremadura such as Vostell or Canelo, as well as furniture and renowned makes of carpets such as Mariscal, Le Corbusier or Moragas.

Everything was great, but the establishment needs a renovation. The breakfast buffet can improve. In general, very good. It is a very pleasant place in a beautiful setting.

The accommodation was fine. The breakfast was very scarce, we arrived at 09:30 and there was practically nothing hot, no juices, no bread. They didn't replenish despite our request. In short, expensive breakfast for what was there.

Spacious hotel, very good service, great pool, but a bit outdated. I would renovate the room furniture, it shows its age.

The accommodation is magnificently located at the start of the monfragüe park and torrejón el rubio, which has several activities such as a star observatory and an interpretation center. We stayed in a superior double room, very nice but somewhat dirty. The views and the pool were very good, as well as the restaurant, although the wine service in the special menu we requested left much to be desired.

The best: the bed, the cleanliness, the silence. The worst: the breakfast, which well before closing time, was not replenished and one had to ask the service for everything.
