Second time i go. Totally recommendable place, recently refurbished furniture, air conditioning, quiet place, very clean and close to everything. Friendly owner. The only bad thing is that the bathroom smelled a bit like pipes, i imagine it's due to the old building, leave the bathroom window a bit open and done. Excellent quality/price, you can't ask for more for the price of the room.

Good hostel, in the center of cambrils, everything is fine. Reception service only in the afternoon.

We will probably not return; the reception we got was rather unpleasant. The reception closes at 9 pm and we didn't know or see it anywhere in the reservation. So when we arrived and rang the bell, the first thing they said was that they doubted we had a reservation; upon opening, they reproached us for arriving so late (it was around 11 pm) and they didn't listen or believe us when we said we didn't know anything about the maximum arrival time. They told us rudely that they had called us several times when we only had one missed call from a number marked as fraud and that, of course, appearing as such, we didn't return the call. They even said it was a lie even after showing them the phone. In the end, they made us feel like children being reprimanded for coming home late... Totally out of place. We have booked for years on family celebration days where we arrive late at the hotel/hostel and it never happened to us, nor were we treated this way. Also, we found stains on the sheets.

It has been recently renovated (still smells of paint). They have put new furniture, flat screen tv, and air conditioning, as well as wifi in the rooms. It does not match the photos on this page, which are prior to the renovation. It has just what is needed. The only thing i missed was a bar to hang the towel and wet swimsuit when you return from the beach, and you can hear the hallway light timer. Comfortable mattress and everything very clean. Good quality/price ratio. Totally recommendable.
