Real holiday
Salou is such a nice place, with a lot of palms that make it feel like a real tropical summer. The beaches are a white sand-like powder that make for an incredible feeling. The mountains are above the town, and it's a fantastic deal, sea and mountain. If you like fun, there are a lot of things to choose from. Love this place!!!

We often went to Boca boca restaurant in Salou. Good service and food, fine price... only thing is the music isn't for everybody. Ribs restaurant has very good ribs and burgers that we tried. Near to it there is a big wok restaurant, Wok City....excellent quality and service and low price. The best eastern food that we got was at Thai Salou. Note that the activities at the beach like doughnuts need to be booked in good advance. There is no Uber like service in Salou or free now/my taxi. No rental scooters like bolt and tier, but they are available in Tarragona. And like in most places, rental cars at the airport offer the best price.

Much more relaxed than I expected
Salou is known for the nightlife, but in reality it is much more relaxed. Of course, you can expect some drunk young folks during the night, but during the day it is really a nice place. The sea is really warm, and the beaches are nice.
