Opinions about Parador de Vielha
Reviews
Maite, (Sant Feliu De Llobregat)
It's the first time we've been to this parador. We've been to several and we liked it, but the time we chose at the beginning, when they give you two options, we chose 9:30 and had to wait almost until 10:00 to be called. That was nice, but I must say that the waiters Aleix and Antonio, a 10, very friendly and very professional.

Anónimo,
The surroundings are idyllic, but the Parador needs good maintenance and room insulation. We had the accessible room and the bathroom had many chips on the floor, especially in rusty areas. The corridor noise was excessive and mainly from the room above because the wooden floor creaked. The room had several dirty spots, like the fridge or the cream and soap dispenser. There was a bar of soap when we arrived, and they didn't replace it in the 4 nights we stayed. The pool area was very nice, but the pool itself was half empty on the first day; then they filled it more, but it was still 'weird.' We didn't even take the breakfast because 21 euros per person per day seemed like a rip-off (plus we read several reviews that indeed confirmed the bad quality-price ratio). The best part was undoubtedly the surroundings and the ease of getting to Vielha in 5 minutes by car, with plenty of parking both in the town's parking lots and at the Parador. I won't end the review without thanking the kindness of the hotel staff; the receptionists were lovely.

Anónimo,
The perfect stay, the breakfast buffet varied and very good service. The hot dishes are prepared on the spot, everything in general very good, with the only drawback being the access to Vielha on foot.

The accommodation seemed adequate to me, let's say that for high season price-quality, it was fine, but nothing remarkable. The accommodation in general is somewhat outdated: corridors, general areas, but especially the rooms and bathrooms need updating. The attention received at the reception upon our arrival also did not seem good to me, it was a young girl and perhaps with little experience, but it seemed like it cost her to talk. We had to ask questions to get information about the breakfast times, the spa operation, the common areas, etc. And another detail that I didn't like is that they ignored my only request when making the reservation: I asked for a double bed and they gave us a room with two beds. A pretty bad detail considering that when we arrived (weekdays) the accommodation was practically empty, it was not until two days later (when the holidays started) that more people started arriving. As I said, in my opinion, it is not bad, but there is no aspect that makes it stand out or differentiate from other accommodations. (The views are beautiful from some rooms and from some common areas).
