Very good, although the walls are paper thin. Next to us there was a family with two small children who wouldn't stop talking; it felt like they were in our room. There were also several weddings on friday and saturday, and the noise was everywhere: people talking, the party with music, people going up and down laughing loudly, etc. The mattress was sagging. The place is far from everything, in the mountains; it takes over an hour to get to barcelona, but it is very close to the airport, about 15 minutes by car.

El castell is located in a privileged spot, on a hill with magnificent views of barcelona and baix llobregat. The hotel is very well maintained, although it needs to continue renovations to remain a good hotel. The room was spacious and had comfortable beds, tv, fridge, air conditioning and the bathroom was clean, although the shower was a bit uncomfortable (old bathtub). The staff was very friendly and helpful and the facilities, especially the pool, were very good.

Anónimo,
Our stay at the hotel was calm and pleasant, away from the hustle and bustle of barcelona. What we valued the most is the restaurant and the breakfast, which stand out for their quality and good service.

The worst thing about the hotel, besides being quite old, was the size of the room. Shameful to give us a room where there was nothing more than a bedside table due to its narrowness. It was as if they had converted a cleaning closet into a room. A real robbery to pay that money for a cubbyhole.

Anónimo,
We spent 5 nights at this hotel on a bed basis. It is a nice 3-star hotel, large and comfortable. The room is small but comfortable, quite warm for the cold that was felt. The bathroom is quite outdated, needing improvements. It has a good à la carte restaurant and a bar with a tapas menu. Good leisure area outside, with a pool and a spectacular view of barcelona. By foot, it is 5 min to the center and the train station, a drawback: the return is always uphill. At certain times of the year, it offers excellent value for money.

Anónimo,
It has been a tough week, but the service was great. Relaxation once the work was finished, the pool was great, and reading a book becomes an adventure inside the castell. I recommend it.

The best, customer service, friendly staff. The worst, disappointment with the hotel, the rooms are not at the level of a three-star; they have a lot to improve in lighting and room condition.
