The hotel is very outdated, with old furniture, it needs a renovation since it is a 5-star. The location is good, it is in the center of Oviedo. The staff, totally impersonal.

Anónimo,
I loved everything in general, the phenomenal location, the well-equipped room with a large and comfortable bed, the friendliness at the reception, the tranquility, the easy access, the interior patio a marvel and the interior lounge impressive, in short, everything was fine. If I had to nitpick, I would just say that the bathroom might be a little small considering the category of the establishment, but sufficient in any case.

Anónimo,
The best thing is that it is very beautiful and quiet... otherwise normal. The worst, without being a disaster... 1. The reception. It's not very welcoming, so to speak. The counter is quite far back and nobody greets you at the entrance, not for luggage or anything, the receptionists just check your reservation and give you the keys, they don't inform you of anything, neither breakfast times, nor where the restaurant is, nor the parking, nor anything, really... we had to ask everything (it was our case). 2. Our room was a comfort and it wasn't bad, but a bit. 3. The cleanliness is average, towels and bed very good, but the bathrooms leave much to be desired due to mold in the joints and floors around the toilet. Then, almost the whole hotel is carpeted and has rugs, they looked good, really, but it is something to keep in mind. By the way, the carpet on the stairs needs changing. 4. The breakfast is quite normal, few pastries and little variety, the salmon was bad (for that, they better not put it), little variety of bread, cold cuts, cheeses, fruits, cereals... in short, little variety of everything. I know that nobody at home has such an exaggerated breakfast, but if we pay for a hotel with buffet breakfast it is to enjoy it and allow ourselves certain excesses. To top it off, one day, I don't know what happened, but there was almost nothing, they didn't restock and the dining room was full, everyone complained and in the end, they put sliced bread, a bit of ham (full of fat, that nobody wanted), scrambled eggs, that in a hurry, the waitress piled hastily into the churros bowl, and little more, it was a shame and, by the way, a waitress (I don't know the name), petite she, was not in a good mood, could not handle the stress, I understand, but guests are not to blame. In summary, a beautiful hotel, but I think that the staff basically needs to improve and it is not that they are unpleasant, not at all, I just think it is a problem of organization. We have stayed in much better 4-star hotels, with another reception, other qualities and above all a better continuous customer attention, not to mention other 5-star hotels. 5. The location is not bad, 10 or 15 minutes from the shopping area, the Campoamor theater, the cathedral and Calle Gascona. On a note, Asturias is wonderful and the stay despite what has been mentioned, has been quiet and pleasant.

Anónimo,
Wonderful building, hotel with a great reputation and unbeatable location. Very friendly staff. The triple room we occupied, although comfortable, clearly needed a renovation and update. Magnificent bathroom and absolute tranquility.
