3 days are too much
Very nice, but 3 days are too much for what there is to see. Doing everything at a leisurely pace (boat ride, cable car, entry to Lello bookstore, and leisurely stroll through its streets), there's plenty of time in two days.

Porto is an ideal destination for 2-3 days. If it's sunny, it's great to enjoy the river and its views, watch the sunset. Otherwise, you can always visit any of its museums and even better take the opportunity to discover its wineries and varied gastronomy.
