Fabulous location right on the Cliff face, very chill and homely feeling to the place as well as lots of old world character. My only criticism is the orange juice and coffee at breakfast could be improved but the view from the breakfast terracysure did make up for it.
The best things were the central location, rooftop bar/pool, service. The only thing that I felt let it down was the in house restaurant. It lacked atmosphere and was over priced.
Santa Cruz is a beautiful little village just minutes from Funchal Airport.
Lovely cobble streets bursting with cafés and shops.
Explored the narrow streets,
parks and the old church. Also enjoyed a walk along the ocean promenade
Charming friendly village
