Lovely city with a lot of gardens and castles
Daniel,
Sintra (Lisboa)
Great Town for a Weekend
So many beautiful places to visit, and the streets are filled with lovely shops and food... we love Sintra!
Daniel,
Sintra (Lisboa)
Beautiful palaces to see, lots of great gardens, but too many tourists in certain times of the year. Cantinho do Picadeiro to get some home cooked meal. Palácio de Monserrate definitely a go to!
Michelle,
Sintra (Lisboa)
Sintra is definitely worth a visit. And I would recommend Clotilde restaurant in Estoril. Great Portuguese food! The Estoril artisanal fair was also nice.
John,
Sintra (Lisboa)
Beautiful town and some lovely sites.
Lovely town with lots of nice sites to see. Be prepared to walk a lot of hills!
Keith,
Sintra (Lisboa)
The Moorish Castle was a beautiful piece of history, well worth the climb. For dinner, we went to Incomium (on a recommendation from the hotel staff). We got the chef's tasting menu and I have to say it was genuinely one of the top three meals I've ever had in my life.
Michael,
Sintra (Lisboa)
The whole historic centre of Sintra is very nice to visit. Allow 3 hours for Pena Palace and its gardens, 1,5 hours (2,5 if you want to see the palace as well) for Quinta da regaleira and about 2 hours for the centre itself. Wear sturdy shoes because its up and down the entire day.
