Hotel Norge first opened its doors in 1885 and since then has become iconic and one of Bergen?s most prominent hotels. In June 2018 the hotel reopens after a full refurbishment, becoming a modern and lively meeting place, where local meets international in a vibrant and unique atmosphere. Hotel Norge by Scandic is located in central Bergen, just next to Byparken city park. Bergen Fish & Flower Market is just a few minutes' walk away as is UNESCO-listed Bryggen. Hotel Norge will have 415 new and elegant hotel rooms with a Nordic design and beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows. The hotel strives to be a meeting place for hotel guests, visitors and city locals. Hotel Norge by Scandic can offer three large meeting rooms (that can be combined into one large room), four boardrooms, one meeting suite and three private rooms. On the first floor, there is a large ballroom and event space which takes up to 300 guests. Rooms are contemporary. Some offers a view over the city and Mount Ulriken.
