Great town - definitely underrated
While Marsaskala is not one of the major cities in Malta it still has some old school charm and the qualities of a small village. With a beautiful bay and such venues as summer nights its a great village to unwind. Parking is at a premium though due to the rapid growth of the village but with a main bus terminal located there it makes life easier.

The beautiful city of Valletta is a must to visit. Every day at 4:00 p.m., a cannon firing ceremony is held in the gardens of the Upper Barracks. I also recommend a ride on a ferry in the Tri-City (Singlea). The price of a round-trip ticket is 2.8 for adults, 0.9 for children. Departure every half hour.

It's a bit expensive in regard to food, thinking of what you ate. The people are friendly, and they are ready to help you for anything...they drive to the left side of road and the plugs are not European, they are like UK. Malta is very nice place to visit with a lot of sightseeing

Nice city with a lot to see
Capital city with nice restaurant and bars located on the streets. I recommend taking the ferry from Sliema to Villetta. From Valletta there is a nice view of the Grand Harbour and Three cities.
