The Hotel Bosone Palace was built for the Raffaelli family in the 14th century and counted Dante and Petrarca among its first guests. It is found in the heart of the historical center of Gubbio, to few meters from the Piazza della Signoria. Splurge and book one of the Renaissance suites of the Hotel Bosone Palace, with 17th century stuccoed and gorgeously frescoed ceilings, even though the furnishings are imitation era pieces. The spacious carpeted or wood-floored rooms are decorated with a studied simplicity the Brunelleschian Renaissance would've appreciated. When you arrive in Gubbio, go to Piazza 40 Martiri and contact the hotel. A staff member will show where to park and accompany you to the hotel. The car park is available at an additional cost and is located 150 metres from the hotel. The hotel garage is found outside the city walls and is available at an additional cost. Please contact the hotel for further information. The hotel will be closed due renovation works until the 31th March 2010. This old-style hotel occupies the central Palazzo Raffaelli, where in the past the old patrician family Bosone had also Dante Alighieri as a guest.

Located a few metres from Gubbio?s Piazza della Signoria, the Bosone Palace was built in the fourteenth century and housed famous guests such as Dante and Petrarca. Originally built for the Raffaelli family and formerly part of the Raffaelli Palace, the building became the official residence of the Patrizia Eugubina Bosone family.
