    One night in Turin.

We came to Turin to watch a futbol match so only had limited time to explore the city. We had rented a car in Milan and drove to our hotel which took about 2 hours. With one day to see the sites we were delighted to know the location of our hotel had several wonderful places to visit close by. Our first morning we drove to Valentino park and enjoyed a stroll along the Po River. We made a visit to the fake-but-funny medieval village inside the park. Afterward, we took a trip to the Mont dei Cappucini to enjoy spectacular views of the city. It was recommended as the best location from where we were staying and it is free. The church itself was incredible and has a history dating back to the late 1500's. Later in the day we explored the city center and bought chocolate at one of the oldest chocolatiers in Italy, Guido Castagna. With so much to do, Turin seems like a city we could enjoy exploring for a weeks. Unfortunately, our time was limited. On our second night, we took in a Juventus game with fans from all over the world and that was the highlight of our trip. The Italians are so passionate about their futbol and it was an experience my son and I will always cherish.Arrivederci Turin.

    Nice City

Torino is by far one of the nicest north Italian cities. Architecture from Juvarra is magnificent.
