What to see or do in and around Capri
Dario,
Capri (Napoles)
Capri the island
Patrolling both the gulf of Napoli and the gulf of Salerno, Capri is a must visit and must experience place. It blends unique natural beauty with local culture. It is a generally expensive place, you will see the largest and most exclusive boats anchored around the island, but it is possible to enjoy it even if your pockets are not very deep. All beaches have a public access space. Highly recommended is to rent a boat (starting at €130 for two people) and visit the many grotte and small beaches scattered around the island. Go to the grotta azzurra for a swim at the end of the say, after 5pm when the barcaioli have left, and then to the faro to see the sunset. From Anacapri take the chairlift to the top of monte Solaro for a 360 view of the two gulfs. It is almost inevitable to fall in love with the island, and wanting to come back to experience it a little more over and over again.
