Great Location!
So near St Stephen's Green, Camden Street's bustling pub scene, Grafton St and a 10-minute walk to Trinity College and Temple Bar.

Great Location Near Shopping
It was great to be so close to the shopping and be one of the first people in Arnotts lovely department store in the morning. Easy walk to nightlife on Leeson Street. Enjoyed the busy, multicultural city centre atmosphere including the portal to wave at people in other cities.
John, . Tallaght (Dublin)
Convenient Location Near Amenities
Beside the Luas red line and the Square shopping centre. M50 is also close by. Tallaght hospital nearby.

Residential town on the outskirts of Dublin
Tallaght is situated in the southwest of Dublin maybe a 45min trip by Luas/Metro. The town is mainly residential, people stay here and commute in to town for work, which made it ideal for me to do the same as a business traveller. Tallaght Square Shopping centre is nearby and has all the facilities you might need, Dunnes supermarket anchors the centre. At night the place is fairly lively with cinema and food options around. Centre closes at 9pm but the takeaway places around are generally open late. There's not much of a bar scene outside of the hotel bars/casino nearby, If you're looking for that, best to head into central Dublin. Great place to stay for a business traveller if you want to be out of the centre but still have all the food/shopping options nearby.

Christmas in full swing in Dublin

Amazing bars with live music and Irish dancing.
Great lively vibe. Everyone very friendly - the craic is top! Would advise drinking beers/Guinness over spirits as spirits are very expensive. Lots of lovely restaurants and live music; classic pubs to explore in as well as more modern high-end venues too. Something for everyone!

Dublin - so much fun!
Visited with a friend to explore for 48hours - we were not disappointed! We like to get involved with less-commonly known attractions, and unfortunately despite the prison museum being fully booked we managed to fill our time! Highlights definitely included a 3hour tour with a local (Patrick) booked via airbnb - a fantastic tour guide with charisma and fun activities planned, including local ice cream and a Ulysses tribute a la James Joyce. We took a train out to Howth after Patrick recommended it to us and had a fantastic time exploring the marina, trying out the local fresh fish caught on the bay, visiting the castle and doing part of the coastal path (various length/level walking routes available!). Another great activity was the escape room on a boat in Dublin port, a very fun and slightly hair-raising experience! Highly recommend getting a Leap card for cheap easy travel around the city/surrounding areas, and be aware that not everywhere will take card payments (especially taxis/buses)!
