What to see or do in and around Reykjavík
Susana,
Reykjavík (Region De La Capital)
Hired our own car
We had our own transport that made everything so much easier and cheaper. We went into reykjavík for a walk about the shops, went to the penis museum, rock climbing at a local gym, magical ice bar and used public transport once. We did the golden circle, seen the water falls that were frozen, Giza and other bits we chose. We drove all the way to jökulsárlón to a tour for the blue ice caves and glacier. Just wow!!!! The diamond beach. Worth the drive. On the way home we stopped at Vik and seen the caves and had the highly recommended lamb! Best Ive ever had. The sky lagoon with the 7 step ritual. Again just wow!!! Raf restaurant but the hotel. The fish and ribs were amazing! Do your research. Prices are £15-£30 for food. We went shopping and made our own lunch. £3 loaf of bread. £8 for a beer. If your expecting it, it doesn't seem as bad. I highly recommend this beautiful place. It was all so sereal and breath taking.
Heinrich,

We did a Golden Circle tour, which we really enjoyed. The weather does not always cooperate, but I think Iceland is beautiful in any weather. We found Reykjavik to be a very clean and orderly city.
