The Greek island of Rhodes has exerted a magnetic attraction on holidaymakers for centuries, and with its constant summer sunshine and attractions, that's no wonder. Finding the right hotel or apartment for a vacation in Rhodes can be difficult. With so much competition, a good hotel can be swamped by mediocrity. But there are some real gems to be found. It is nice that after walking a few steps from the hotel you find yourself in lively places full of restaurants with delicious food, e.g. Gorilla's place. The next few steps and you are on the beach or shopping in many supermarkets and if you get a walk about a kilometer you will find yourself in a completely different world ... perfectly preserved medieval town

Holiday in Rhodes
Rhodes is a wonderful little island, which we visited during its' off season. Renting a car is a not a must but recommended if you wish to explore the island and its' sights. Our personal favorite was Lindos, which a beautiful little town that you really should not miss. We've spent 5 days here which is more than enough if you are into sight-seeing only without swimming in the sea. People are friendly.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé cette île plein de charme. Les paysages sont variés voire saisissants pour certains, comme par exemple la vue sur les hauteurs de Lindos ,village que j'ai préféré.La côte est offre de belles plages à l'abri du vent alors que la côte ouest est beaucoup plus venteuse. Cela dit sur cette dernière il y a le village de Monolithos qui mérite vraiment une visite avec une petite chapelle accessible après 10 petites minutes de marche et qui offre une vue splendide sur la baie.Il faut également aller à Rhodes pour la vielle ville. Pour finir n'hésitez pas à aller passer vos vacances dans cette île où les habitants sont chaleureux, ce qui finit de rendre cette destination attrayante.
