Mykonos

Mykonos has a rich history, fantastic scenery, cosmopolitan atmosphere and great nightlife. It's one of the most popular Greek Islands in the Aegean Sea. With its narrow cobbled streets and white-washed houses, Mykonos is a visitor's paradise. A must-do when on this beautiful island is a boat trip to Delos Island the birthplace of the god Apollo. The remains here are a sight to behold. There's also an interesting church called the Church of Panagia Paraportiani which was built in the 15th century. No-one is quite sure why four of the five chapels are underground. There are usually small boats tied up on the beach to take you to the other islands that are close to Mykonos such as Tinos, Andros, Paros, Ios and Naxos.
