Düsseldorf
Dusseldorf is one of Germany's best kept secrets and it's a terrific city to visit. Finding accommodation is easy with lots of great deals and offers on hotels in Dusseldorf so you can choose just the right one for you. Stylish designer shopping in the famous Konigsallee is essential. Said to rival even Milan when it comes to luxury stores and boutiques, it's a taste of the high life on the banks of the Rhine. The Rheinturm is a city symbol and it's worth going out after dark just to see this iconic tower, the tallest digital clock in the world, when it is illuminated by blue lights. Your hotel or apartment in Dusseldorf is a great base from which to explore, and if you're lucky enough to be visiting for carnival in February you'll enjoy a memorable event. Walk in the Hofgarten or visit the pub brewery Zum Schlussel on Bolkerstrasse for fine German beer.
There's never been a better time to find a hotel in Dusseldorf with exceptional offers on everything from a luxury hotel to a fabulous apartment in the city centre. Try the Hotel Windsor for mid priced comfort, including four poster beds, traditional hunting prints on the walls and complimentary apple cake, or opt for elegance at 5 star Breidenbacher Hof where the concierge will even book your tickets to a show. The 5 star Hyatt Regency enjoys a stunning position on the River Rhine and with its excellent spa with sauna, fitness centre and whirlpool, it's a terrific all round hotel. Maybe you prefer a little privacy? Try booking an apartment for your stay directly from the owner or through one of many online sites. If you prefer a budget priced hotel, Sorat Hotel is comfortable and the tram stops right outside, while the Backpackers Dusseldorf is a typical hostel but new and clean.
The gorgeous Dali inspired Hanseat Hotel has a candy theme throughout, while the unabashed luxury of the Nikko Hotel with its infinity pool and sweeping staircases will appeal to modernists. Whatever your preferences, you'll be certain to find a hotel or apartment in Dusseldorf that appeals to you.

Elegant yet Affordable
I've stayed for 4 days in Düsseldorf and loved every hour of my stay. There are a lot of open parks with lakes where you can just chill and have some fun time feeding birds. There's also Schadowstraße which has almost everything you want to go shopping for. Weather is great, most of the people there use bicycles, so fewer cars with less traffic.
