What to see or do in and around Copenhagen

  • Copenhagen (Región Capital )

    Trip to Denmark

You can go anywhere with public transportation! You have a shopping center (Field's) and Royal Arena if you are going to a concert. First day we went for a walk around Ørestad. It is filled with beautiful parks where you can sit down and just enjoy a sunny day or have a picnic. The second day, we went on a 30-min bike ride to Copenhagen. We rented two bikes (Donkey Republic). We then visited an amusement park, Tivoli gardens. On the third day, we went to the National museum of Denmark, where you can spend hours without realizing it. It covers all the history (mummies, Greek mythology, vikings, renaissance...). After that we went to visit Christiania, a city inside Copenhagen with alternative culture and art. We did a lot of sightseeing the third and the fourth day. I recommend: The Church of Our Saviour, The Marble Church, The Round tower, Ameliensborg palace, Nyhavn, Little Mermaid Statue, Christianborg palace. We went to have a coffee in Strøget - the most well-known and busy street in Copenhagen. I advise everyone to visit Rosenborg Castle, with amazing artifacts and a beautiful garden in front of it. Next time when we visit Copenhagen I wish to see Glyptotek, Botanical garden and The National Gallery of Denmark. We had a busy schedule, so we could not do everything we wished for. But we had the best time in Denmark.
