We had a brilliant two full days, enough to walk around both the upper old town and the lower town. It was December and the advent scene was fantastic, loads of lights, stalls, food, drink and free live music. Perfect for a quick pre-Christmas city break. Would definitely recommend the Mr Moo restaurant for those looking for fine dining and Otto and Frank for bistro fresh food. Caffe/bar Destino was a great little stop for coffee near the Stone gate, and do visit the Museum of Broken Relationships - full of amazing stories. Sadly all the other main museums were closed as were the big cathedrals/churches (possibly due to earthquake damage from two years ago or getting ready for 1st January 2023 when Croatia is fully integrated with Europe, the Euro and the Schengen zone)!
