TOP Getaway!
Highly recommended 4-day autumn couple's getaway, we loved it, we visited Brussels, Bruges, Ghent, and Antwerp perfectly connected by their train network. We bought a rail pass for both of us for €87, and it was enough to visit all these cities while having our hotel in Brussels. I recommend that the one you choose is near Gare du Midi station so you don't waste time going to and from the station. We started by visiting Bruges, a medieval fairy tale and chocolate city, continued to Ghent where we had delicious mussels with potatoes and tartar sauce at a restaurant called Vaudeville, and Antwerp, which I personally loved. On the last day, we left Brussels, the gateway to the world of Europe, a city that has a reputation for being gray and the ugly duckling but we left with a totally opposite idea. It has so much to offer, its Grand Place is impressive, the royal palace, the Sablon district, and of course its beers!
