Arinsal
Located in the west of Andorra, Arinsal is one of the country's best ski resorts. At the heart of the Vallnord ski region, Arinsal offers slopes to suit every skill level, as well as snowboarding and other alpine attractions like ice skating and cross country runs, making it a great option for family winter breaks. In the summer, the town becomes a world-class mountain biking and hiking destination. With these natural attractions, you can find some superb hotels in Arinsal and also apartments to rent. Visitors can rent apartments in the centre of the town which are close to restaurants and bars, as well as the ski lifts and equipment hire shops. But there are also self-catering chalets available such as Hola Andorra, which can accommodate between 4 and 12 people. So heading off to the slopes with friends over New Year's, or for a Valentine's Day escape with other couples can be enjoyed in total comfort. Alongside self-catering options, there are also some fantastic hotels in Arinsal. The Princesa Parc, for example, is centrally located and has added extras like a games room and wellness centre. On the other hand, Xalet Besoli provides a tranquil alternative – slightly outside town and with sumptuously appointed rooms.
Arinsal is a great place from which to explore the Vallnord Ski Region. Vallnord is the hub of alpine sports in Andorra, hosting international snowboarding events like the FIS SBX World Cup and boasting a wide variety of slopes and schools to ease beginners onto the slopes. But a hotel in Arinsal provides more than just skiing. Those renting a car can tour Andorra's beautiful Romanesque churches, or rent bikes during the summer to tour the country's gorgeous lakes. And an apartment in Arinsal also gives easy access to southern France and northern Spain. A day trip to Barcelona is simple to arrange, where tourists can sample delicious Catalan delicacies and see the spectacular Sagrada Familia before heading back to their hotel in Arinsal. The medieval cities of southern France like Carcassonne or Pau are also easy to reach from an apartment in Arinsal, making it a great destination for active holidaymakers.

A small town with services
Arinsal is a small village with supermarkets, bars, restaurants, night pubs, a pharmacy... We arrived just during the local festivals (2nd weekend of August), there was a lot of atmosphere, many people, we had a great time!

Perfect to start skiing
Perfect to start skiing. It is a small but charming village. It has almost everything you need to enjoy. More than anything, it is the Yomo Patagonia hotel, which is a 4-star hotel, but I would give it a 10 without a doubt. You won't regret it! Greetings!

Spectacular trip to Andorra
We stayed in Arinsal. We entered Andorra from the French side... quite a spectacle... I couldn't stop looking around seeing the Pyrenees. Amazing roads, incredible views from the highest points... unbelievable! We went to the Roc del Quer viewpoint and, even though it was closed, the view was wonderful. Each village had its charm, very beautiful houses, all of Andorra decorated with flowers on lampposts and in the streets. Truly, I loved it. I would return with my eyes closed.
