Location

Fujairah is one of the seven Emirates that are collectively known as the United Arab Emirates. Geographically speaking Fujairah is the 4th largest in terms of sheer land size, however as population goes it is currently the 6th ranked with 130,000 residents; only Umm Al Quwain is less populated. Fujairah is mostly mountainous, it also has far more rainfall than many of it's pure desert Emirate cousins, as a consequence there are far more seasonal changes compared to say Dubai or Abu Dhabi. In winter the temperature seldom reaches higher than 25-30 degrees Celsius, where as in the summer it can reach high into the 40's. If you are traveling from Dubai or Abu Dhabi follow these instructions:Take Emirates Road Highway 311 to Ras Al Khaimah Direction. Turn right at Exit 119 (immediately after Exit 117). Drive to Dibba on direction of Fujairah (single line part of the road the other part double carriage way between mountains). When reaching Masafi Roundabout take the direction of Dibba (after driving through the mountain), you would see Fujairah Cement Factory on the left hand side.Turn left when you reach Roundabout with Dolphins, you would see Sheikh Zayed Mosque with 4 minarets on the left hand side (Turn left 3rd Exit). Continue driving till you reach the Check Points (formal ID/Passports would be required)/Sharjah Police. Continue driving till you see Sultan Qabbous mosque (2 minarets)at the Roundabout take Right on direction of Dibba Port.
