Beautiful Island, such a shame about the jellyfish problem
We loved Langkawi, the sunsets, the relaxed atmosphere and especially the mangrove tour. Swimming in the sea is not recommended due to deadly jellyfish which is a huge spoiler but there is so much else to see. It gets very hot though, so best to have a pool! Pantai Cenang was not as hectic and busy as I thought but rather relaxed. We loved the yellow cafe with awesome views, live music and delicious pizza (for the kids ;) and we only found a couple of jellyfish on the beach. Tanjung Rhu was full of jellyfish, on the beach and in the water and in my opinion not worth a visit. Aquarium was a good way to get out of the heat for a bit with quite a lot to see, especially with children.

Langkawi cable car is a must-go location. Have lunch at a rice paddy. Try to go to the ferry terminal which has an eagle statue.
