What to see or do in and around Malaysia

  • Our Penang Experience

Our Penang Experience. Day 1 Arrival at Penang Dinner at Lorong Baru (New Lane) along Macalister Road. Possibly the best Char Kway Teow (CKT) in Penang. The CKT that is fried on charcoal fire comes with Chinese sausage, prawns, duck eggs, cockles. The queue is at least an hour and worth the wait. Go early at 6pm to avoid a super long queue. Day 2 Escape Theme Park Longest water slide (1111 metres) in the world is a family-friendly thrill ride. Plus the world's longest zip line on chair is the best selling point of the theme park. There are child-friendly water slides, playground and monkey schools (obstacles course) as well as water and non-water adventures for adults seeking different thrill levels. Recommend family and young adults to go. Day 3 Kek Lok Si Temple, Gurney Plaza & Hawker Centre Revisit my first temple I prayed overseas to relive memories and pay gratitude for the blessings. As usual, our shopping spree at Gurney Plaza and enjoyed Lok Lok at Gurney Hawker which is 1-2 mins walk from the mall. We changed our itinerary and didn't go to Penang Hill & Habitat because of adverse weather. Day 4 Entopia (Butterfly Park), Upside Down Museum & Chulia Street Hawker Centre Visit to redeveloped butterfly park Entopia is a brand new experience. The new park has a collection of insects, reptiles and nature all in one. The upside-down museum is a fun time with family and friends for memento photos and videos. Proceed to nearby Chulia Street Hawker Centre for other Penang deli
