Lima to enjoy the gastronomy
Lima is a city to enjoy its gastronomy. Additionally, you can take a stroll in the city center or along the seafront.

I recommend visiting several places
I recommend visiting Kennedy Park, Love Park, and strolling along the entire Malecón to the Marina Lighthouse. Then you can take an Uber to the archaeological site of Huaca Pucllana, the entrance costs 15 soles and also includes a guide. In the evening, there are many options near Kennedy Park to enjoy a drink like the famous Pisco Sour or Chilcano. It's also worth seeing the views of the Pacific from the viewpoint of the Larcomar shopping center and continuing to walk to the Barranco neighborhood to explore the Butterfly Park, see Mafalda, follow Almte. Miguel Grau Avenue and end at the Plaza de Armas and the Bajada de Baños that takes you to the beach.

Average quality-price ratio
The worst thing is the quality-price ratio, but it is known that in Lima, around the airport, this ratio is like that.

Great destination for great food
Great destination for great food. Some of our favorite restaurants include Al Toke Pez (great ceviche and seafood rice), Rafael (get the duck rice), and Isolina (great for shared plates) in the nearby Barranco neighborhood.

Great foodie destination
Great foodie destination. What a great location to try so many different delicious restaurants and facets of Peruvian cuisine. Also, there were so many activities to keep us busy including paragliding along the coast as well as visiting the Palominos Islands to swim with the sea lions. During the latter half of May when we visited it was the winter season so it was a bit chilly and constantly overcast. But the warmth of all the locals and good food made us really happy to be there!
