Puerto Vallarta family vacation
We had an awesome time in Puerto Vallarta. This is the fifth time we have travelled there and we love it. The weather is good, there are many places to visit and things to do for the entire family. We will definitely return in the future! Would recommend this destination for families, couples, and friends.

Great weather and beaches, safe, easy to get around
We like Puerto Vallarta because it feels safer and easier to get around in compared to other places in Mexico. The airport is in need of an upgrade but that construction is underway. The beaches are nice, though sometimes the waves are a bit rough and it is a bit rocky, so not always swimmable. The sunsets are beautiful, which again you don't get on the eastern seaboard. We mostly stayed on the resort this time with little kids, but if you are looking to go somewhere interesting then it is very easy to take a taxi to Malecon / Romantic Zone, and you can walk to the boardwalk which stretches for a very long way. There are lots of tourist shops and good restaurants there, so you will likely be able to find a meal overlooking the ocean.
