The stay at the hotel was wonderful; the service was of excellent quality, the rooms were always clean, the food very well prepared, and the structure of the hotel is colonial-style but in very good condition. We spent three wonderful days.

Spectacular, if it wasn't under repair at the moment, i would return soon.

Our experience at the resort was disastrous. The hotel food was simply a tragedy. It felt as if everything was done with absolute carelessness, with poor quality ingredients, without care or interest in offering good food and drink options to guests. I spent more than 30 days in cuba and i can say that the resort was the worst place where i ate in the country. There's nothing like it. The pizza was a joke; it looked more like an improvised biscuit with a bit of cheese on top. When i ventured to order a pork dish, they served me a plate full of bones and fat, practically without meat. The fish gave off a smell on a surreal level. I've never eaten anything with such an intense aroma and such poor taste in my life. The complex doesn't offer even a minimum of non-alcoholic beverage options. On many occasions, the only option they offered was a kind of cuban coca cola, which was extremely sweet. There were never any natural juices, and when there were, it was at most one option. Several times i asked for butter and olive oil to eat with slices of bread and there was simply nothing. In other words, the place is really in an absolutely precarious situation regarding food supply to customers. My critique focuses on the food aspect, as it completely affected our experience at the site. We spent two days poorly fed, hungry, and without the desire to enjoy the place. We tried all the complex's restaurants, but none of them could offer us minimally acceptable dishes.

Anónimo,
Best: the personnel was really kind and welcoming. Worse: we stayed in the place twice (two nights the first time, one night the second time). The first time there was no hot water in our room, and despite the fact that we reported the problem three times, nothing happened. The plumber only came on the last night saying that it was broken and he couldn't do anything. On our second time there, we had the same problem, but this time we asked to be changed immediately. They gave us another room with the same problem, but nobody believed us until the bellboy came to check. Then, we were given another room with hot water but which hadn't been cleaned completely and had problems in the electrical system. We had spent the whole afternoon complaining and trying to have our problem recognized and a proper room, so when we finally got the room, we just decided to keep it, in spite of the above mentioned problems. The staff perfectly knows that there are at least two groups of apartments with no hot water (we reported it twice, a week and the following week, and we know for sure that someone else did), but they keep giving those rooms ignoring the problem and the reports.

Despite being a hotel built years ago, the facilities are very well maintained. The attention and kindness of the restaurant staff stand out. Very happy to have chosen the hotel colonial.
