Pleasant destination
Although with some problems with electricity, it has been a pleasant destination. Plenty of options to do.

Charming Old Havana
Old Havana is beautiful with good restaurants. It's nice to hear music everywhere, enjoy the famous mojitos and caipirinhas, many restored buildings, and clean streets.

Tranquil colonial and coastal city
Quite a tranquil colonial and coastal city. Coastal colonial city with good views over the sea and beautiful colonial palaces at the tip. Recommended restaurants are Paseo del Prado and the grill restaurant. Lovely terraces to enjoy cocktails.

Trip to Cuba
Trip to Cuba. We had the pleasure of visiting some places in Cuba, including Old Havana, Vedado, Trinidad, Santa Clara, and Cayo Santa Maria. The places and accommodations were beautiful, and we got to know and experience the particularities that characterize each one. The architecture of Havana, the nature of Trinidad, the history of Santa Clara, and the beaches of Cayo are, in general, what we take away from each place, along with the people and culture we got to know. A very lovely experience!

Cuba, a particular country
Cuba is a particular country. When you go there, you must know that you are going to a different country. There is no insecurity, but there are strange things, and Cubans will ask you for things. They have a shortage of many things and if a tourist notices that, imagine the situation of the locals. However, there is also a certain general negligence.

Incredible experience
Two friends and I ventured 10 days before going and honestly, we return very happy. It was an incredible experience, and we visited spectacular places. The people were very kind despite the difficult situation with gasoline and food.

Place of contrasts
Place of contrasts. Cuba is a spectacular destination: paradisiacal beaches and wonderful people, but it is going through its worst times. You can see extreme poverty if you integrate into rural areas, but you can also see it in the capital itself if you walk through the Habana Centro neighborhood (people asking for pens, soap and toiletries, medicines). I was brought to tears at every step. Very sad indeed. If you go, bring things you can give them and you will make them happy with very little. In Havana, I want to highlight a place called Antojos to eat, and another called La Vitrola. In both places, the ropa vieja is delicious. There is another very peculiar place in the Vedado neighborhood called Havana Blues where all the waiters are actors (some of them quite well known within Cuba). It is a very cheap place to eat, but they suffer shortages due to rationing and sometimes have to close the place (the waitress who served us explained this to us). As for transportation, it is preferable to rent a car to move around the island. There is little traffic outside of Havana, but you must keep in mind that the asphalt is usually not in good condition and there are no shoulders even on the highway! So always drive during the day because, in addition, even horses drive on the highway. In Cayo Santa María, I want to recommend a beach that is within a nature reserve: Las Gaviotas (formerly Playa Perla Blanca). You have to pay to enter but it is spectacular: very fine white sand and
